Overview
A Dungeons & Dragons campaign is a grand adventure that unfolds over multiple sessions, lasting anywhere from a few weeks to potentially years! With such a lengthy timeframe, players have the unique chance to significantly shape the storyline. Together with your group, you determine the direction of the tale, develop as characters, and create unforgettable memories. For those eager to engage in a deeper narrative over an extended period, a StoryForgers D&D campaign is the perfect choice.
At StoryForgers, we offer three specially designed settings: Fantasy, Steampunk, and Pirate Wild West. Explore each of them and choose where your legendary quest begins! If you have specific preferences, we also provide custom campaigns. Our experienced DMs (Dungeon Masters) ensure you have everything you need to embark on your adventure. As a player, all you need to do is select your character and let your imagination soar! If you wish, we can also arrange a 'Session Zero' to align with your expectations.

The Vast Mists of the Crimson Isles
In this 'Pirates/Swashbuckling' setting, you set sail on a magical ship to seek out treasures.
The stars have vanished.
"It was a beautiful evening. We were celebrating the Midsummer Festival, as we do every year. Deep into the night, while enjoying the festivities and engaging in warm conversations, the stars flew like birds to the west. The brightest star seemed to protest and exploded like fireworks. Since then, the sky has been a deep void."
Such tales are known to all. Since the stars disappeared, everything has changed; there are no more harvests, the wind no longer blows, and navigating the sea has become impossible. In The Sprawling Mists of the Crimson Isles, you sail on a magical ship across the sea to restore balance to the world. During each session, you encounter new, extraordinary islands with their own flora, fauna, and, of course, treasures.

Waterdeep: Dragon Heist
In this urban political intrigue setting, navigate the lively streets of Waterdeep to uncover a hidden treasure and outsmart rival schemers.
The streets of Waterdeep hum with life. Merchants shout their wares, bards fill the air with song, and the aroma of fresh bread mingles with the tang of salt from the harbour. Yet beneath the vibrant façade lies a city teeming with secrets, danger, and a treasure worth a king’s ransom.
"You’re not the only ones looking for it, you know," the informant says, sliding a folded map across the table. "But you might just be the ones clever—or lucky—enough to win the prize."
In Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, political intrigue, shadowy alliances, and criminal masterminds lurk around every corner. The city is alive, the factions are many, the stakes are high, and the prize awaits.
Will your party seize it before it slips through your fingers?

Curse of Strahd
In this gothic horror setting, a modern D&D classic, venture into the cursed land of Barovia to face an ancient evil.
A chill runs down your spine as the mist thickens around your camp. The crackling bonfire casts flickering shadows across the gathered travellers, their music a fleeting comfort against the creeping night. Beyond the circle of wagons, the fog presses in, muffling distant sounds like a predator biding its time. An old woman draped in vibrant scarves steps into the firelight. Her piercing gaze meets yours, and a knowing smile tugs at her lips.
"At last," she whispers, "I have been waiting for you. The cards have spoken, and fate has brought you to this moment."
Welcome to Barovia, a realm gripped by the iron fist of the vampire lord Strahd von Zarovich. Its people live in fear, its lands are draped in perpetual twilight, and the echoes of sinister laughter haunt the air. And the mist, the mist surrounds it all.
Do you have the courage to challenge the tyrant of Barovia and break his sinister grip? Or will the mists claim you too?

Embers of the Final War
The world of Eberron, a noir-infused steampunk setting, is still recovering from its greatest conflict, but new challenges are already on the horizon.
The mournful whistle of a lightning rail cuts through the rain-soaked streets of Sharn, the City of Towers. Somewhere in the labyrinth of bridges and spires, danger waits. A shadowed figure watches you from the corner of a bustling tavern, flipping a coin engraved with a symbol you don’t recognise.
“You’re looking for answers,” the figure says, voice low. “But the truth? The truth can get you killed.” Welcome to Eberron, a world of magic-fuelled industry, lingering scars of war, and intrigue at every turn. In Embers of the Last War, you and your party become embroiled in a tangled web of espionage, ancient mysteries, and clashing factions. The stakes? A secret that could ignite another cataclysmic war—or stop it before it begins. Every choice shapes the story, every ally hides a motive, and every enemy is more than they seem.
The past is never truly buried. Will you light the spark of the past or snuff it out?
