Our backstory
Meet Sebastiaan, Sever, and Wouter: three mates united by their passion for fantasy and tabletop gaming. It’s been ten years since we first ventured into the captivating realm of D&D. Starting with pre-made campaigns from Wizards of the Coast, we quickly discovered the joy of adding our own unique touches to our sessions.
Our diverse backgrounds in theatre, philosophy, computer science, and graphic design inspire us to push the limits of what’s achievable in a D&D session: carefully curated music playlists, atmospheric lighting, AI-generated images to enrich the storytelling, intricate political plots to bring characters to life, and even 3D printed miniatures. Our sessions are only limited by our imagination, making every story come to life!
After introducing many to the joy of D&D and tabletop games, we pondered how to welcome even more adventurers to our tables. Thus, StoryForgers was born. StoryForgers has since grown into the Dungeon Master platform of New Zealand, with Dungeon Masters running games across the country, from the beaches of Northland to the mountains of Otago, from the streets of Auckland to the fiords of Fiordland!
StoryForgers is here to seamlessly integrate you into the awe-inspiring world of D&D. We aim for sessions filled with excitement and laughter, tailored to player preferences. Want more role-playing? You've got it! Crave more dungeon exploration? Let's delve deeper! Our golden rule as Dungeon Masters is simple: if you're having fun, so are we.
