Hi!
My name is Gabi (or sometimes Bysia) and I’m a fan of all forms of storytelling! Books, films, series, games, tabletop, podcasts - anything that tells a story. I’m also keen to chat about these topics or hear about your favourites. I’m always on the lookout for something new!

As if that didn’t keep me busy enough, I’m also a crafter. I sew, embroider, play music, crochet, knit, and paint miniatures! I’m always happy to share some DIY tips or learn something completely new.

I love meeting new people and hearing their perspectives on the world and the game. One of the best parts of any RPG is when the notes go out the window and we embark on an epic adventure together. Surprise me with your ideas anytime!

Looking forward to playing together ;3

How I conduct games

My games often revolve around roleplay and puzzles, whether it's cracking codes or discerning the true intentions of the NPC you're conversing with. I enjoy when players devise wild plans and unconventional solutions, and I absolutely love those moments in games when someone delivers a five-minute monologue explaining why, against all odds, their unique plan will actually succeed! (I have a soft spot for this; it works 99% of the time.)

I enjoy incorporating music, playing with the idea that not everything is as it seems, and creating layers upon layers of conspiracy that run deep. Depending on the mood, this can shift into darker themes or lean towards more light-hearted adventures with lower stakes.

Learn more about me

My favourite thing to hear from a player is…

"Alright, I have a wild idea, but hear me out." They then proceed to describe something that's a bit of a stretch, yet just close enough to make me chuckle and say, "You know what? Give it a go." And somehow, it always works! One of the mysteries of the universe, I guess.

What players think of my games…

I think the positive feedback I hear most often (or basically every time I play with any group) is that my strongest suit is the music and the NPCs. I love engaging with the characters, giving them their own little stories and making them a very active part of the world. That, of course, doesn't mean they aren't a narrative device to help the players shine brightest - but I do enjoy the social interaction and social puzzles... as well as significant choices based on the NPCs you have come to love ;3

The villain I became too fond of…

There was this one character I created who was entirely redeemable, complete with a tragic love story and all the elements for a proper dark romance. Unfortunately, despite this, my players decided he had to go - or, as the saying goes, "the evil twink must pay". I felt down for days afterwards. He still lingers a bit rent-free in my mind.
